1. Remember that even in difficult times, you can always rely on God to get you through. “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31).
2. Rely on the power of positive affirmations and visualization. Visualize yourself coming out of a difficult situation, happier and better than before. This will help increase your self-confidence and restore hope.
3. Put your faith in prayer and meditation. Take time out each day to go inward, quieting your mind and your soul and find comfort in your faith.
4. Find the silver lining in each situation. In moments of despair, seek to discover the opportunity within the experience.
5. Stay connected with your inner self and cultivate a feeling of safety and security in all times.
6. Create an atmosphere of positivity in your home and in your surroundings.
7. Give yourself permission to be present in your emotions and process the discomfort with self-compassion.
8. Know that it’s OK to make mistakes and accept that everyone experiences difficult times.
9. Show kindness to yourself and take a break from trying to solve the situation, take some time to nourish yourself with kindness and self-care.
10. Have faith in yourself and have faith that you have the strength and courage to go through any difficulty. “God will make a way where there seems to be no way” (Isaiah 43:19).
